Phil Earle will talk to a combined audience of BGS Years 4 and 5, as well as Year 5 classes from Local Authority schools on Wednesday, 6 May. Phil will be launching his latest book, Demolition Dad, about a boy determined that his father’s wrestling ability should reach the heights it deserves.
Later that same morning, Phil will run a creative writing workshop involving the Year 9 Scholars. He will be drawing on ideas used in the opening chapters of his teen novel, Being Billy, to run a session on how to write a prologue in different genres.
Marcus Sedgwick has described Phil as ‘a great writer’. We believe he is, too!
